The uniquely successful and extremely compact RACKETEER has now reached its third generation. The BC320 has been designed to handle everything from 2.5Mb/s up to 1.5Gb/s. The list of signal formats include; HD-SDI, SDI, DVB-ASI plus AES and MADI. The BC320s are extremely compact single channel fibre optic converters that are perfectly suited to provide interference free transmission and for extending the range of electrical signals,
particularly HD-SDI signals.

BC320T
The signal on the BNC input on the transmitter is automatically line equalised. There is an autosensing function that detects the incoming signal and the unit sets itself up to that format. The signal is passed to the optical driver which the drives the optical output device. The BC320T is available in Multimode and Singlemode format with bit rates up to 1.5Gb/s.

BC320R
The optical input is presented to a PIN/TIA and then a limiting amplifier. The resultant signal is line driven and presented to the BNC connector on the output. There is no reclocking facility on the Racketeer which allows completely transparent end to end transport of any signal with bit rates from 2.5Mb/s right up to 1.5Gb/s. The BC320R is available in Multimode format and Singlemode up to bit rates of 1.5Gb/s.
